What is Wright Planning?

Wright Planning started in November 1997, after Gavin had resigned from KPMG Financial Services, where he was a director.

After working in a number of financial planning firms, Gavin believed there was a place for a fee based financial planning firm in Melbourne. He believed that this approach to financial planning would allow the clients to make informed decisions about their financial and lifestyle issues, based on objective advice from the advisor.

This type of arrangement suits many clients, regardless of their assets under management, because they pay fees for the work done and the value provided. From the first day of operation, clients have paid an annual retainer based on their circumstances and objectives.

Wright Planning has now been operating for 16 years and has around 50 family groups. We are proud that many of the children of our clients are part of our client base and we believe that planning on an inter-generational basis is critical to effective long term financial planning.
